      Q.      What has changed because of the Covid 19 pandemic?

         

       The Ohio Medical Board has required some immediate changes by all Massage Therapist in oreder to safely provide                      services for the people in Ohio.


         * The client/customer must provide their own linens for the massage.

         * The amount of items carried into a home are reduced,so please request if you would like aromatherapy or cupping.

         * The therapist temperature is taken daily.

         * The therapist will wear a mask during the massage.   

         *  Please cancel the appoinment if you are running a fever or feeling unwell. There will be no charge for last minute                          cancelations. Only a missed appointment will generate a fee.

     

      Q.      What should I expect for the first visit?

 

Your therapist will be at your door approximately 10 minutes before your appointment with all of their equipment. After a checkin call to the office, your therapist will set up in your preferred location. Your consulation will begin and the therapist will review your health history and goal for your massage therapy. Your session time officially starts with the consultation. After the consultation, your massage will start. When your massage is complete, your therapist will pack away the equipment, give you their recommended plan and collect payment for the service.

 

      Q.      What do I need to do or provide?

 

When you are setting up your appointment online, please provide accurate health information to allow us to provide the best service for you. Also any location information such as stairs and parking would be really helpful.

In your home or office, please make sure there is an area cleared slightly larger than a twin bed, in order to set up the massage table. Access to a working sink (for washing hands) and an electric outlet will also be needed. For prenatal massage, please have two regular bed pillows handy to help with comfortable massage positioning.

To ensure a safe and optimum environment: Male first time patients must have an adult female on the premises for the duration of the massage. Minors must have a parent on the premises. 

 

       Q.      Can I play my own music?

 

You sure can! Your therapist will arrive with a sound machine but you can play anything you prefer!

 

Q.      What payment forms are accepted? Can I use my HSA or FSA?

All credit and debit cards are accepted. Checks are not accepted and your therapist does not carry cash.

HSA and FSA can be accepted with a prescription from your healthcare provider. Please check with your HSA or FSA provider first to ensure that medical massage therapy with prescription is an allowable expense.

 

Q.      What if I need to cancel or change my appointment? * Charges will not apply during the Pandemic.

Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled online until 12:01 am of the date of service. Same day cancelations or changes will incur a $20 charge to the card on file. This fee will remain as a credit to be used on a completed therapy session for 14 days. Same day changes must be completed via phone at 614-398-3659.

 

Q.      Do I need to undress?

For most massage therapy sessions, you should undress to your level of comfort. For back, shoulder, neck work, we do request that women remove straps and support wear. The therapist will only uncover the part being massaged. Proper draping is maintained at all times, as required by The Ohio Medical Board.

If you are receiving medical therapuetic massage only on part of your body, you are welcome to wear loose gym type clothing.

 

Q.      Can I have my massage on my patio/backyard etc?

Sure! As long as we can safely set up, your massage session can be anywhere.

 

 

Q.      How do I set up an appointment?

Just follow the link to the online scheduler. It will show you dates and times that are available. Once you have selected one that fits your needs, you will be prompted to complete the online forms and enter a credit/debit card to hold the appointment. The card will not be charged at this time. You will receive a phone call from a therapist. After speaking to you, the therapist will confirm your appointment in the scheduler. You will also receive a reminder email before your appointment. Returning patients/customers will not receive a phone call, their appoinment will be confirmed online.

Available appointment times can be flexed by 30 minutes earlier or later, for your convienence (ask via phone).
